Troubleshoot Xbox Game Bar on Windows | Xbox Support

I like the idea of Game Bar, and brings Windows even further in terms of the social side of gaming, but here is its downfall I doesn’t always work, and it may not be much of a fault of Microsoft’s, but I think like most things it can be fixed. Listen, almost no one plays games in windowed mode if they don’t have to, so it doesn’t even make any since for it to be a requirement to use the feature.

Previously, I managed to get a couple games working in Game Bar, I can’t remember which ones exactly now, but the results are in consistent. Now like I said may not be a fault of Microsoft, but it can be fixed. Please fix this because its a small issue that doesn’t need to ve an issue any more. Windows 10 game bar not working free

My xbox game bar will not work, I have tried multiple different things including changing code in the actual application and nothing has worked at all. I have tried the steps you provided but now xbox game bar is uninstalled and I am unable to reinstall it, I have reported the error through feedback hub but I did not manage windows 10 game bar not working free fix it. I have tried to reinstall through powershell but it still gives the same error as I had previously said.

Hello WeebTendo, Thank you for updating me that information. I’m sorry it didn’t resolve the issue. Have you tried to reinstall the Xbox Game Bar app via Powershell on my previous reply? I tried to check from other threads especially in Xbox forums and there’s a lot of users reporting the same issue. What we can do is to wait for the meantime, I’ll message you again if I can found a fix about this.
