As for lens distortion correction — we use the Apple RAW engine for base RAW decoding and lens distortions are corrected automatically for lens profiles supported by that engine. Hopefully a manual tool to correct lens distortions will come sooner than later because missing of that tool is the reason I haven’t purchased Pixelmator Pro. Many new cameras have lens corrections built in RAW, and some editors allow you to apply these, or at least see the application. This would be very useful.

Mon Jul 29, pm This isn’t actually a bug as such — previously, any nondestructive features of the pixelmatoe effects, adjustments, styles would be flattened when a ‘destructive’ tool was used on them. So if you painted using the Repair tool on a layer with effects, the effects would flattened rasterized and then the other tool would simply edit the new pixel content directly.

This was changed in version 1. A side-effect of this is that certain layers behave unexpectedly in cases like this. Then, once you repair, everything will work as expected. I can’t make any concrete promises but it should really be available in the not too distant future.
