I just got bricked by a Win10 update. I didn’t get to see which one and I don’t know if it was an Insider preview or not. Hopefully whatever it is the Insiders can help with the resulting issue. I immediately got an update to the version I now have, but the issue persists. After going on numerous forums I find that this is happening to hundreds or people over numerous brands of computers, mostly tablets and some laptops.

It is happening with a variety of Win10 versions and no one can find a resolution for this. My question is why is no one at Microsoft doing anything about this. Many of the forums I’ve been on are Microsoft forums so I assume Microsoft is aware of it I have removed and reinstalled the drivers the most recent and one previous without a change in symptoms Was this reply helpful?

Yes No. Sorry this didn’t help. Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately there was no previous version on the machine after the update crashed I started from scratch at that point. Any recommendations as to what version should work and how to download anything but the most recent offered by the Microsoft site? Thank you for the specifics. Just for the record i just let the updates do themselves as i am curious as to whats next. My main machine is much more stable as i am more careful, if being an insider can be consudered careful.

What is on there now is a clean load with one update. I will be putting a clean load of and shutting off the auto update functions. I doubt i will have it as an Insider machine I had the same problem and manually downloading the drivers from catalog. My computer reported version 1.
